Tutu's Pearls reflects the truly important concepts of a life well lived, from two Tutu's who have been friends for over 50 years. Here's a little about the book in their own words...

These are some of the "pearls of wisdom" we have learned through experiencing this magical adventure we call life. Tutu's Pearls helps us remember who we are. May this book be a gentle reminder to live a life focused on love rather than fear, and may it become the inspiration for children of all ages to lead a more joyful life. This book contains simple lessons that are easy to forget in this high-speed, ever-changing, and somewhat chaotic time. May this book plant seeds of wisdom and kindness in a world that so desperately needs those things.

Tutu's Pearls is the first book in our Kupuna series. Kupuna in the Hawaiian language refers to our elders: it literally translates as "Ku," meaning "my," and "Puna," meaning "source." We hope that your experience with this book makes you feel like you just had a big hug from your Tutu!

About the Authors

Linda Clifford lives on the Big Island of Hawaii where she can see both the mountains and the ocean. She loves snorkeling, dancing hula, and spending time near the ocean with friends. Her grandchildren call her "Tutu," which is how this book got its name.

Janet Hinde lives in a cabin in the woods in Washington State. She loves painting, gardening, and spending time with her dog, Whisky and all her woodland friends. Janet created all of the original artwork for this book.

The two joyfully collaborate to compile these books with lots of love and laughter along the way!
